Jessica started riding when she was five years old and began showing hunter jumpers in Texas. Upon moving to Arizona, she transitioned to showing at Arabian breed shows in dressage, sport horse, hunter jumpers, and carriage driving. She achieved numerous Regional Championship wins and National Top Tens. Jessica began to train, and show, other Arabians with a focus on dressage. After earning her USDF Bronze Medal, she began her career as a professional dressage trainer.
Currently, she is competing with her sponsored FEI horse at CDIs. After a successful Young Rider season in 2024, resulting in a team gold medal at the FEI Youth Championships, they are working towards competing in the under-25 Grand Prix division next.
Jessica Nordqvist is based out of Sage Mountain Equestrian Center in North Scottsdale, Arizona. However, she will travel for an additional fee. Her program is flexible and she will do up to five days a week of any combination of riding/lessons. There is also availability in the program for sales/consignment horses.
